Deutsch producer Suff Daddy brings lo-fi beats laden with Mini-Korg riffs underneath.
Fueled by weed and Pilsetten.

The White Stripes - Lafayette Blues
Jack screams out le francais. J’adore monsieur Jacque White.
Tres bien!
Jouir (enjoy).
The White Stripes - Who’s to say
I don’t know really know what to say about this one…
Enjoy
The White Stripes - Shelter of your arms
I introduce to you a stirring and thunderous song drenched with reverb, feedback, overdriven overdriven sounds that emanates the chaos of a man’s heart in turmoil yearning for the calm, soft and warm bosom of his loved one.
…
I don’t know what it is about this song but it makes me all romantic-like.
Apologies for the dramatics.

The White Stripes - Rated X [Live at the Hotel Yorba]
Here we have more White Stripes gold and this one is a well worded, edgy observation of the social stigma that women undertake through the aftermath of divorce.
Jack may be speaking from personal experience with the separation from his ex-wife, Meg but it’s an experience that has translated into more of an acute observation of our social misgivings.

The White Stripes - Red Bowling Ball Ruth
A song about a bowling alley.
…
I love the stuff that The White Stripes sing about. Piggy banks, meeting people, divorced women, bowling alleys…
Enjoy
The White Stripes - Astro/Jack the Ripper live
I do not know where they played this.
I do not know when they played this.
But I do know that this combination of Astro and Jack the Ripper is awesome.

The White Stripes - Looking at you (MC5 cover)
The White Stripes have a knack for re-creating, “re-booting” and re-energizing other people’s songs making it seem like their own.
The White Stripes cover MC5, a Detroit band that Jack has used as inspiration particularly in the vocals department.
I apologise for the sound quality as it was recorded live at Peel Acres.
Listen out for the blistering solo from Jack.
Enjoy
The White Stripes - China Pig
A quirky take on the psychologically and emotionally difficult ordeal of smashing that ceramic piggy bank just to grab a few measly dollars.
It’s a White Stripes twist on things and it’s a throwback to a predominantly Son House style, Mississippi Delta blues.
If someone asked them to play something that epitomizes who they are, a sound that they thought represented them in the best way possible, then this would be it.
Enjoy
The White Stripes - Black Jack Davey
It’s a folk, western hoe-down that is Dylan-esque in character paired with the power of The White Stripes.
A tragic love story and the besotted nature of an innocent house wife to the apparently offensively charming, Black Jack Davey.
Enjoy
I adore this track because of its contrasting nature. Paired with a innocent, child-like singing from Meg which only consists of La’s, with the full swing of The White Stripes raw power coming into play, this song is dynamic and a musical montage that is relentless. The sinister nature of the lyrics also bring about another dimension of juxtaposition.
It’s a hell of a song.
Enjoy
The White Stripes - Lord send me an angel
The duo covers one of Jack’s musical heroes, Blind Willie McTell.
Jack inserts himself into the lyrics.
Good one Jack.
